Cook Department of Education Albany, Albany and Great Southern WA Chefs/Cooks (Hospitality and Tourism) Government - State (Government and Defence) Full time Level 3, 1,254.30 - 1,268.90 per week (pro-rata) This is a permanent full-time position commencing February 2026 Albany Residential College. A great place to live and learn. Albany Residential College is situated on Thomas Street, Mount Clarence, in a safe and secure setting within walking distance to Albany Senior High School. The Role The Cook will cater for meals at the college and college functions, as required whilst ensuring adequate catering to avoid under catering or excessive catering. The successful applicant will ensure food handling and occupational hygiene practices are in accordance with relevant health and safety guidelines. The Cook will ensure stocks are stored safely, do not accumulate excessively and are utilized quickly whilst ensuring the kitchen, equipment and facilities are hygienically maintained. The successful applicant will possess good interpersonal skills and work effectively with other cook/s and kitchen hand/s whilst undertaking mixed functions as required.
