Chartered Accountant, Harrismith

Our client within the Retail/Wholesale Industry is looking for a Chartered Accountant in Harrismith.

The CA will be responsible for both general and financial accounting, managing the organization's financial reports and transactions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, tracking expenses, analyzing financial data, providing insights to aid business decision-making, and ensuring the organization's compliance with all financial regulations whilst preparing and examining various financial documents. Perform general accounts receivable, accounts payable and administrative tasks.

Requirements:

• CA(SA) registered with SAICA
• 3 - 4 years working experience as a CA
• Afrikaans &n English speaking
• Not be older than 45 years of age
• Preference given to males

Responsibilities:

• Sound knowledge of Tax regulations
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and Pastel Partner
• Attention to detail, working accurately under pressure and meeting deadlines
• Ability wo wok independently, to analyze financial data and preparing accurate reports in a timely manner
• Sound knowledge if IFRS, IFRS for SME's , Companie's Act and all Accounting Regulations
• Analyzing trial-balance account identifying errors and raising journals
• Maintain an organized set of detailed records and files to document financial transactions
• Prepare annual financial statements, audit files and ad-hoc financial reports
