Winding Engine Driver, Welkom

Minimum Required Qualification:

• Level 4: Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate) /National Cert level 4 Certificate GET Education, Training and Development
• Recognised Winding Engine Driver certificate as issued by the DMR
• Onsetter's Certificate

The Appointee should:

• Proof must be provided that certificate is still valid and WED has driven a winder in the last 2 years as an appointed WED.
• At least 1-2 years’ experience as a Winding Engine Driver on AC and DC machines or have proof of Competence for newly qualified WED.
• Medically fit to work in the specific business area
• Clear security screening record
• Valid driver’s license (if applicable)

Additional Requirements:

• 2-3 years’ experience as an Onsetter will be advantageous
