Job Title: Production Supervisor (Coal)

Location: Mpumalanga, South Africa

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

Job Summary Hire Resolve's Client are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee all aspects of coal mining operations in Mpumalanga. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coal mining, proven leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and productivity.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise mining operations, ensuring all activities are carried out efficiently and safely

Plan and coordinate production schedules, ensuring targets are met within budget

Manage and mentor a team of miners, ensuring they are well-trained and motivated

Monitor and report on production metrics, identifying areas for improvement

Implement and enforce safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe work environment

Maintain equipment and infrastructure, coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed

Communicate effectively with management, vendors, and regulatory agencies

Requirements

Opencast Blasting Certificate for Fiery Mines

2 Valid Opencast Coal Mine Machine Licenses

Minimum of 5 years of experience in coal mining, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role

Knowledge of mining regulations and safety procedures

Strong leadership and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment

Willingness to work long hours and weekends as needed

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
