Job Title: Project Manager

Job Type: 12 month contract, expected to work Full-Time hours (Onsite)

Job Duties:

1. Develop a detailed project scope and execution plan.
2. Prepare a project schedule with key milestones.
3. Develop a budget estimate and cashflow forecast.
4. Develop investment committee letter to obtain approval for capital.
5. Identify long-lead items and procurement risks.
6. Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
7. Manage contractors and suppliers.
8. Facilitate risk assessments, HAZOPs, constructability reviews and safety reviews.
9. Ensure compliance with mine standards, legal requirements and engineering standards.
10. Track progress, cost, quality, safety and scope changes.
11. Manage commissioning, performance testing, defect close-out and final handover.

Required Qualifications:

Mining Engineer

Project Management Qualification (PMP)

Experience:

15 years of experience

Delivery of a capital project from Study Phase to Commissioning

Sound background of conveyor tie in projects
