Purpose of the role: To manage the overall operations and lead the production team by ensuring effective utilization of key resources to meet business needs. The individual is responsible for safety, productivity, quality, resources, and reliability within the production environment. Responsibilities include:Ensuring all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way. Improving operational management systems, processes, and best practices. Recruiting, selecting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees to the correct standards. Improving and developing operations systems by determining product handling, storage, efficiencies, quality, and safety.Analyzing and improving organizational processes and workflow, employee and space requirements, and equipment layout; implementing changes. Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing predetermined standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.Controlling and managing 200 employees over 3 different shifts. Being responsible for all department managers and supervisors, with review/approval responsibility for all operations employees. Managing all aspects of the company assets. Ensuring all processes remain compliant with OSHA health and safety regulations and other governmental regulations.Educational Qualification, Knowledge, and Experience

Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role. Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management. Excellent communication skills. Leadership ability. Degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field. Minimum 5 years’ experience in management/production and/or manufacturing.Health and Safety background.
