Night Shift Invoice Clerk, Maitland, Cape Town

URGENT!!!

My Maitland (Cape Town) based client is urgently looking for an experienced Invoice Clerk to generate and check invoices, GRNs and GRVs. The successful candidate will be an immediately available South African male with 2+ years' relevant experience working on Pastel v19 with own transport and able to work irregular hours.

NOTE:  Working hours 22:00 - 07:00 / Preference will be given to male applicants, but female applicants are also encouraged to apply

Requirements:

• Grade 12 with Maths & Accounting
• 2+ years' experience checking and generating invoices, GRNs and GRVs
• Stock control and warehouse management experience
• Extensive knowledge and working experience with Pastel v19 (non-negotiable)
• Must be able to generate a minimum of 100 invoices
• Attention to detail
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Data entry proficiency
• Live within easy commute to Maitland
• Own transport (due to working hours)

Responsibilities:

• Create, verify and issue invoices, GRNs and GRVs to clients and suppliers
• Receive client orders via e-mail / what's app web
• Process orders
• Check stock availability
• Obtain approval before dispatching of orders
• Ensure accuracy and compliance
• Record payments
• Resolve billing discrepancies
