Bluestones Offshore Partners is recruiting on behalf of a well‑established UK‑based boutique recruitment firm specialising in the engineering sector. Established in 2010, the business offers a professional yet relaxed working environment within a small, experienced team.

About the Role This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, self‑starting individual who wants to build a long‑term career in engineering recruitment within a niche technical market.

You’ll work closely with experienced consultants, supporting clients operating in electrical and automation engineering, including:

Scope of Clients

Electrical Engineering (HV preferred, but MV/LV also considered)

Electrical substations, transmission&distribution systems

Automation&control systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA, MES)

Key Responsibilities

Source, identify, and shortlist engineering professionals for UK‑based clients

Conduct screening interviews (primarily via Microsoft Teams)

Build and maintain strong candidate relationships

Provide administrative support across the recruitment lifecycle

Use creative sourcing strategies to identify niche engineering talent

What We’re Looking For

2–3 years’ work experience (preferably in engineering or technical recruitment)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Highly IT literate and comfortable using modern recruitment tools

Confident engaging with candidates in a virtual environment

Tenacious, resilient, and detail‑oriented

Proactive mindset with strong problem‑solving skills
