E-commerce Marketing Specialist

to grow online sales, optimise digital campaigns and strengthen our online community presence.

This role will focus on driving revenue through performance marketing, improving conversion rates, managing e‑commerce channels, and building relationships with customers and content creators, while working closely with design, content and sales teams to achieve business objectives.

Duties&Responsibilities E-commerce&Channel Growth

Develop and execute strategies to grow sales on owned platforms (E‑Store) and external e‑commerce channels such as Takealot, Amazon, and other marketplaces.

Manage online product promotions, campaign alignment, and visibility across platforms.

Support sales‑driven and promotional initiatives in collaboration with internal sales teams.

Performance Marketing&Optimization

Plan, execute and optimise performance marketing campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, email marketing automation, and affiliate marketing.

Conduct A/B testing on ads, landing pages and user journeys to improve conversion rates and ROAS.

Analyze customer behavior, funnel performance and campaign results to identify growth opportunities.

Manage tracking tools and ensure accurate performance reporting.

Collaboration&Content Alignment

Work closely with design, content, and sales teams to ensure campaigns align with business goals and brand messaging.

Brief creative teams and support development of campaign assets.

Community&Influencer Engagement

Identify, build and nurture relationships with brand advocates, customers and content creators.

Monitor, manage and optimise community engagement across relevant platforms.

Support community‑driven campaigns and loyalty initiatives.

Market Intelligence&Reporting

Monitor e‑commerce trends, platform updates, competitor strategies and emerging tools.

Provide regular performance reports and actionable insights to management.

Experience&Qualifications Must Have

Relevant degree or diploma

Proven experience in

e‑commerce and/or digital performance marketing .

Hands‑on experience managing

Google Ads and Meta Ads

platforms.

Experience with SEO, email marketing flows and performance analytics.

Strong data analysis skills with ability to optimise campaigns based on performance.

Desirable (Advantage)

Experience managing

e‑commerce marketplaces

such as Takealot and Amazon.

Experience with affiliate marketing platforms and partnerships.

Familiarity with Google Analytics, conversion tracking and attribution tools.

Experience working with content creators or influencer marketing campaigns.

Package&Remuneration Market‑related and competitive, based on experience and qualifications.
