Maintenance Planner (3-Month Contract), Cape Town

A well-established manufacturing company based in Parow is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join their Engineering team on a 3-month contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on individual who is immediately available and has experience within a maintenance or production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the planned maintenance system
• Schedule and monitor planned and preventative maintenance
• Manage maintenance requests and issue reminders to relevant stakeholders
• Generate and maintain maintenance reports
• Design maintenance schedules for new equipment
• Support the implementation and maintenance of CMMS systems
• Assist with stores stock-taking and inventory control
• Lead and support the maintenance team
• Ensure SHEQ compliance is maintained

Minimum Requirements

• BTech / Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 4–5 years’ experience in a maintenance or production environment
• Experience with CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) advantageous
• Experience in site and building maintenance advantageous
• Strong planning, coordination, and reporting skills
• Must be available immediately
