Minimum Requirements
- Honours Degree Human Sciences, Human Resources Management or Industrial/Organisational Psychology
- MBA advantageous
- 10 Years relevant HR Management experience of which 5 years should be at an Executive level
- Knowledge HR/payroll legislation & systems
- Proficient on MS Office Suite
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction for the human resources management strategy
- Partner with divisional business heads to provide strategic human capital support
- Ensure that group human resources policies are integrated into divisional operating policies
- Develop strategies and supporting procedures to ensure appropriate talent is attracted
- Design and develop the organisations succession plans
- Develop the employment equity strategy and implementation plan & implementation thereof
- Develop the BBBEE strategy and implementation plans
- Comply with the relevant HR Legislation (Labour Relations Act, Employment Equity Act, BBBEE Act, Skills Development Act, MIBCO Main Agreement etc.)
- Develop the recruitment and selection strategy
- Oversee psychometric assessments for recruitment and development purposes
- Analyse exit statistics, identify trends and make suitable recommendations
- Develop the employee relations strategy
- Monitor national annual wage negotiations with Trade Unions and manage the implementation thereof
- Provide strategic direction in terms of the diagnosis of organisational development initiatives
- Ensure training function compliance to the relevant statutory requirements
- Develop the HR systems strategy, approve HR policies, procedures, protocols, codes of practices etc.
- Develop the organisations communication & broad-based remuneration strategy
- Review salary surveys, analyse results and make recommendations
- Represent the company at employee benefit boards and sub-committees
- Monitor benefits provided through company and align with reward and remuneration strategy
- Facilitate change management initiatives
- Compile annual human capital budget
- Compile HR reports
- Compile and update performance contracts and individual development plans and facilitate individual career path planning
- Determine the training needs of the Department
- Conduct performance reviews
- Resolve grievances and disputes
