A well‑established company based in Umhlanga is seeking an HR Manager to take ownership of the full HR function and support the business through structured people practices, compliance, and workforce development.

Step Into a Hands‑On HR Management Role This is a practical and operational HR role, suited to a confident HR professional who can manage the full employee lifecycle while partnering closely with management. The role requires a balance of compliance, employee engagement, and day‑to‑day HR leadership.

Strong communication skills, discretion, and the ability to operate independently are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Full HR function management including policies, procedures, and HR compliance in line with South African labour legislation

Employee lifecycle management: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, discipline, and exits

Manage Employment Equity, B‑BBEE support, Skills Development Plans, and statutory submissions

Oversee COIDA administration, workmen’s compensation claims, and letters of good standing

Maintain accurate employee records, manage leave and HR reporting, and support leadership on HR matters

Who Should Apply

Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or related field

Proven experience in an HR Generalist or HR Manager role

Solid knowledge of LRA, BCEA, EE, and general HR compliance

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of confidentiality

Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and support a fast‑paced business environment
