Our client is a listed entity and definitely an Employer of Choice. They require a Financial Accountant for an 8-month contract to assist with the Group Reporting and Treasury function. Duties&Responsibilities

Proven technical knowledge of IFRS. Proficient in MS Office. SAP - a strong advantage. Strong analytical and reporting capabilities. Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail. A high degree of confidentiality. Emotional maturity, ethical values and integrity - key! A high stress tolerance.Able to work efficiently under pressure. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Take initiative. Energy and motivation are key role requirements. Precise planning and excellent administration skills. C.A. (S.A.) essential. ''Big 4'' Articles. Min. 2 years post-articles experience essential. Proven technical knowledge of IFRS. Proficient in MS Office. SAP - a strong advantage. Competencies:

Provide support to the Group Treasury function. Review supporting documents and release online payments. Review of interim and year-end packs for completeness. Assist with preparing of: interim and year-end annual financial statements; supporting workings to the financial statement process. Assist with:technical research - IFRS matters; IFRS 9&16 workings; external audit queries; analysis of monthly consolidated results; prepare banking covenant calculations; Investor relation queries. Assist with adhoc admin tasks.
