We are looking for a dynamic FMS sales Engineer to lead sales growth and strengthen relationships across the South African mining sector. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business development skills, and strong industry connections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive and sustain sales growth to meet company objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in mining.
  • Prepare proposals and presentations to communicate value propositions.
  • Conduct market development activities to expand market share.
  • Resolve customer service issues and support debt collection.
  • Ensure effective use of ERP systems and maintain accurate customer databases.
  • Represent the company at exhibitions, events, and demonstrations.
Requirements
  • National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Marketing/Sales (postgraduate an advantage).
  • Minimum 6 years’ technical sales experience in the South African mining industry.
  • Proven ability in complex B2B sales with long cycles and multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of mining industry contacts and instrumentation systems.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills: MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint; ERP experience (SAGE).
  • Experience in fuel management systems and ability to grasp new technologies.
Working Conditions
  • Travel required across South Africa, including outside normal working hours.
  • Standard office hours: 08:00 – 16:30, Monday to Friday, with flexibility as needed.
