HR/IR and Training Manager, Tzaneen

Requirements:

1. Grade 12
2. HR degree
3. 5 years or more experience as a HR Manager
4. Experience dealing with unions
5. Experience with health and safety policies
6. Valid drivers license and able to travel

Duties:

• Contribute to the overall business' strategic planning, develop and set plans to operationalise the employer's overall business' strategy;
• Contribute in developing and aligning the HR strategy to the overall business strategy;
• Organise, plan, and prioritise work by developing specific goals and objectives to accomplish for the HR team;
• Ensure that human resources and operational business risks are identified early and mitigated;
• Constantly R & D for latest trends and the farm's best practices
• Work closely with the HR team to provide assistance and coordination for designated open positions within the company
• Onboarding
• Provide benefit assistance to employees and management by answering questions and/or supplying information
• Develop job descriptions for positions
• Enforce H&S policies
• Provide monthly HR reports;
• Provide support to management and employees in implementing human resource policies and procedures.
• Contribute in preparing annual budgets and maintain accurate financial records for the HR unit;
• Coordinate Wellness / Employee Health initiatives
• Set performance standards
• Monitor and enforce employee adherence to employer's policies, procedures and practices
• Provide training to staff on various sites
