Description

Our client, a leading software and solutions developing company, specifically catering to the hospitality sector, seeks to employ a Support Desk Manager to join this progressive and expanding professional team.

Please note that this role is fully remote and the ideal candidate will reside in either Johannesburg or Cape Town, and be able to self-manage, collaborate online with the team and be effective at managing deadlines timeously, with the flexibility to travel nationally when required.

Candidates need to have a solid background in the Hospitality, Tourism or relevant sector, understanding ICT networking, Point of Sale systems and software development lifecycles

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION

You must be able to work independently and accurately keep records and be proactive in your approach to ensuring the profitability of the company.

  • You will have completed a qualification in Software Engineering or related coupled with 3-5 years experience in Support Desk Management or Software Consultant, and who has experience in leading a small team.
  • You will have experience in managing, guiding and developing a department to provide the best possible service, as well as ensuring SLA deliverables are met and exceeded for customers.
  • You will have prior expertise in reporting in ticketing statuses and providing effective and efficient problem solving to exceed customer satisfaction.
  • You will be a natural collaborator, a team player and be proactive in terms of providing professional support to both the team and customers.
  • Proficiency in ZOHO CRM and Microsoft packages are essential
  • You must have a valid driver's licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
