12 Month Annual Renewable Contract Position Overview: As an External Audit Senior, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality audit services to a diverse portfolio of clients in the UK. Your role will encompass planning and executing audits, interacting with clients to understand their business operations, and providing valuable insights that contribute to their success. You will also play a key part in mentoring and coaching junior team members, fostering their growth and development.Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the execution of audit engagements for a range of clients across different industries. Ensuring effective planning, efficient execution, and timely completion of engagements. Develop strong relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor and understanding their business operations and industry challenges.Analyze financial statements, identify areas for improvement, and provide meaningful recommendations to enhance internal controls and operational efficiency. Collaborate with partners and managers to develop audit strategies and tailor approaches based on client needs. Mentor and guide junior team members, providing constructive feedback and fostering their professional development.Qualifications and Requirements: Qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA) with at least 1-year post-article experience in external auditing within the private sector. Strong understanding of IFRS for SME's and auditing standards. Proven experience leading audit engagements and managing audit teams.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members. Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in using audit software: (CaseWare, Pro-Audit, CCH, Inflow) and Microsoft Office Suite.
