Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Development Manager to join their team in the electronics industry in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in driving business growth, developing relationships with key clients, and identifying new business opportunities in the electronics sector.
Responsibilities
Develop business strategies and plans to drive sustainable business growth in the electronics industry
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking
Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to provide insights for business development
Prepare and present business proposals and reports to senior management
Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the company
Customer service excellence, focusing on the retention and churn of customers
The company requires that you assist at the trade counter when it becomes necessary and that you invoice according to the company’s procedure.
Advise management on product needs, including monthly product projections and reporting on projects
You are also required to assist management with ideas on promotional literature and newsletters and provide an informed view on the types and frequency of marketing methods.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
3 years of experience in business development within the electronics industry
Strong understanding of the electronics market trends and industry challenges
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Results-driven with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed
