Role Purpose

Engineered Sourcing is recruiting for a Senior Civil Engineer or Technologist on behalf of a prominent, medium-sized civil engineering firm in South Africa. This role is focused on leading complex structural projects within the public and private sectors, ensuring unrivalled delivery and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Project Oversight: Plan, design, and manage construction projects including roads, bridges, and buildings.

Structural Integrity: Conduct rigorous site inspections to ensure all structures meet safety and technical specifications.

Stakeholder Management: Coordinate effectively with contractors, government authorities, and clients to provide progress updates and resolve site-level issues.

Financial&Resource Control: Monitor project costs, materials, and timelines to ensure projects remain within budget and on schedule.

Compliance&Safety: Oversee construction activities to ensure full adherence to building codes, safety standards, and project specifications.

Requirements Required: B.Eng., B.Sc., or B.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Professional Registration

Mandatory: Must be professionally registered with ECSA as an Engineer or Technologist.

Technical Experience

Specialization: Minimum of 5 years post-ECSA registration experience specifically within Structural Engineering.

Proven Track Record: Experience delivering projects for both public and private sector clients.
