Job Description Education and Certification

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is often preferred.

Relevant certifications, such as ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, and others related to specific technologies.

Technical Skills

Microsoft 365:

In-depth knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365 suite, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and other related services.

Ability to implement and manage security features in Microsoft 365.

Firewalls

Expertise in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting firewalls for network security.

Familiarity with popular firewall solutions, such as Cisco, Sophos, Mikrotik, or Fortinet.

Desktop Support

Proficiency in providing desktop support, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues for both Windows and potentially Mac systems.

Knowledge of remote desktop support tools and techniques.

Servers

Experience in managing and maintaining Windows Server environments.

Understanding of server virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

Cloud Backup

Hands‑on experience with cloud backup solutions, such as Azure Backup, AWS Backup, or other third‑party backup tools.

Knowledge of backup and recovery best practices in cloud environments.

Leadership and Management Skills

Proven experience in leading and managing a team of IT professionals.

Ability to set goals, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback.

Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.

Communication and Customer Service

Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Customer‑centric approach to understand and address client needs and concerns.

Project Management

Project management skills to coordinate and oversee IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.

Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
