Assistant Agronomist, Pietermaritzburg

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Must have a B.Sc.(Agric) degree
• Must be based in the KwaZulu Natal province or be willing to relocate there.
• Experience in plant nutrition would be preferred.
• Must have excellent communication and presentation skill.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Providing technical advice to farmers to improve their crops.
• Conducting trials and analysing results.
• Preparing and presenting reports.
• Making fertilizer and irrigation recommendations and developing programs accordingly.
• Identifying opportunities to grow product sales within the area.
• Developing new or improved methods or products to promote crop growth.
• Executing demonstration trials and organise field days when required.

Salary package is highly negotiable depending on experience
