HIM: Head Field Guide / Assistant Reserve Manager

— Host guests, conduct guided game drives and bush walks, ensure guest safety, deliver exceptional guiding experiences, assist with reserve management (habitat monitoring, conservation tasks), handle game vehicle and equipment maintenance, manage infrastructure upkeep (roads, fencing, water systems), supervise staff and contractors, assist with maintenance when required.HER: Assistant Lodge Manager, Marketing and Reservations

— Hosting and general lodge duties, assist across lodge operations (housekeeping, kitchen, front‑of‑house), support guest relations and check‑ins, marketing and social media, administration and reservations support, assist with F&B, stock control and staff coordination. Qualifications

HIM:

FGASA Nature Site Guide– NQF4 (minimum), higher levels advantageous. Exceptional Birding Knowledge. Valid PDP. Minimum 3–5 years’ guiding experience. Mechanical and maintenance experience. Deputy for GM as and when necessary. HER:

Marketing experience highly advantageous. Minimum 3–5 years’ lodge or hospitality experience. Strong organizational and multitasking ability. Skills

HIM:

Excellent bush knowledge and guest communication. Problem‑solving and hands‑on technical ability. Organized; proactive and safety‑conscious. HER:

Warm; professional guest interaction. Adaptability across multiple departments. Team player with attention to detail. Benefits
