Business Analyst (Senior) 2578, Menlyn

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a dynamic, global IT environment delivering enterprise-scale digital solutions.

This role is ideal for a technically strong Business Analyst who thrives in complex environments, understands systems deeply, and can translate business needs into practical, high-impact solutions.

About the Role You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyse, design, and deliver scalable solutions within an agile/DevOps environment. This role requires a strong systems thinker who can navigate complex integrations, data flows, and backend processes while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities

• Analyse complex systems, integrations, and data flows to identify issues and opportunities
• Translate business and user requirements into clear functional and non-functional user stories
• Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders to drive clarity and alignment
• Apply appropriate analysis techniques (process modelling, data modelling, sequence diagrams, impact analysis)
• Collaborate with developers, architects, UX designers, and testers to shape feasible solutions
• Support solution validation, including testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Perform root cause analysis and drive resolution of system issues
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and delivery standards
• Work independently while providing guidance to junior team members where required

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong IT background with deep systems analysis capability
• Proven experience analysing integrations, backend systems, and dependencies
• Advanced skills in requirements gathering and user story creation
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Experience working in agile/DevOps environments
• Ability to work independently and manage complex workloads

Advantageous

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
• Understanding of front-end technologies (Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
• Familiarity with UX principles and tools like Figma
• Experience working across full-stack environments

Qualifications

• Relevant IT Degree
• 7+ years’ total experience, with at least 5 years in a mid-to-senior Business Analyst role
