Data Centre Technician, Randburg

Our client has an opportunity available for a Data Centre Technician based in Randburg.

Requirements:

• Qualification or related qualification in Facilities Management, Property Management, Project Management or Operations Management.
• Matric certificate.
• Valid South African driver's license.
• 3 years relevant experience in Hospitality, Customer Facing Service and Facilities Management.
• General maintenance knowledge would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of the OHS Act, ISO 9001, Quality Management, Risk management, Property law and Contractual law.
• National diploma or degree in:
  • Facilities Management
  • Property Management
  • Project Management
  • Operations Management or
  • Related FM formal qualification.

Responsibilities:

• Meeting room preparation in line with client layout requests.
• Monitor and report on space usage.
• Visual inspection to ensure maintenance standards.
• Develop effective and customer focused and proactive relationships at all levels in the customer chain.
• Develop effective communication lines and relationships with customers on site.
• Put in place mechanisms, processes and procedures to ensure effective monitoring of performance related to quality management and standards.
