Junior Process Engineer, Randburg

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design, evaluation, and optimization of water and wastewater treatment processes Support process troubleshooting activities to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements Collect, analyse, and interpret operational data to drive process enhancements Prepare technical reports, documentation, and performance summariesParticipate in commissioning, validation, and performance testing of equipment and systems Work closely with senior engineers and cross‑functional teams on projects and continuous improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process flow documentationMonitor system performance and support preventative and corrective maintenance efforts Contribute to cost‑saving initiatives and resource optimization Job Experience&Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile)

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships or exposure to water treatment processes advantageous) Basic understanding of process engineering principles and water treatment technologiesStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Familiarity with process simulation software or data analysis tools is an advantage
