PLEASE NOTE: This position is in Mandeni North of Stanger

Purpose of the role:

• Responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of computer systems and other technologies, such as communication systems.
• Configuring hardware and software, setting up peripherals such as printers or routers, repairing equipment, and providing daily support for computer network users.
• Assist at help desk, answering calls and e-mails regarding the computer network or communication systems. Basic LAN and WiFi trouble shooting.
• Be responsible for writing reports, tracking inventory, evaluating new technologies.
• Time to time work in other technological areas, as and when instructed by management.
• Responsible for desk top computing environment which includes adding of computer to domains / installation of company software and resolving all desk top issues.

IT qualification Comptia A+

Studying towards / certified Comptia N+

• IT support experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to work overtime from time to time.
• Excellent IT skills; specifically Microsoft Word,Excel & powerpoint
• Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential

2-3 years experience
