Production Coordinator, Johannesburg

 PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

Our client a leading manufacturing company is looking for a PRODUCTION COORDINATOR based in Stormill who is in the rubber / plastic industry

Duties and Responsibilities

• Production Coordinating
  • Job allocation to staff and machines with necessary documentation
  • Customer liaison (delivery dates)
  • Quality control (during and after production)
• Quality Management system – ISO9001:2015 experience
  • Implementing, enforcing and maintaining
• Equipment and factory repairs
  • Contacting and liaising with sub-contractors
  • Carry out basic maintenance and repairs yourself
• Driving duties: delivering and collecting
• Stock taking
• Ordering consumables
• Factory opening (07h00) and closing of the factory
• New die designs (liaising with tool maker)
  • Training will be given
• Forklift driving experience

Other duties:

• General reception work (telephone, customer liaison)
• Invoicing (Pastel) – training will be given.
• Employee record maintenance (clock cards)
• Maintaining good relations with all employees

General working conditions:

Monday – Thursday: 06h30 to 16h15

Friday: Finish 13h00

Saturdays: When required

Skills

• Be self-starting and motivated
• Able and willing to work unsupervised for periods of time
• Flexible

Qualification and Requirements

• Grade 12 with Math's and Science
• Drivers license and own reliable vehicle
• Computer literate (Excel, Word, e-mail, etc)
• Willing to work in factory environment alongside factory staff
• Technically minded and happy to get hands dirty
• Manufacturing experience (rubber industry)
• Must live on the West Rand

Our client is open to salary negotiations based on the candidate's qualifications and experience, the candidate gets a provident fund
