Purpose of the job

To prepare appropriate data used for models built to optimise Cash SA (e.g., ETL builds, Reservoir engineering, PY charm scrips, SQL scripts and views across all data required for analytics).
To prepare/design appropriate analytics and visualisation models built to optimise Cash SA (e.g., Power BI, Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic, Splunk tools).
To provide high quality support on the design of data/information within Cash SA
To provide support and guidance on all data regulatory requirements (POPIA, Data protection, Data Flows, PCI DSS)t within Cash SA

Responsibilities

Compiles and aggregates data sets from multiple disparate sources, handles and pre-processes large unstructured and structured datasets to analyze data integrity and usefulness.
Rapidly prototypes and utilises approved data systems, algorithms, modeling and advanced data tools and techniques to model complex data sets and DQM required outputs.
Applies data mining, quantitative analysis to pro-actively reveal insights into data outputs to enable analysts to respond quickly and holistically to new visulisation demands.
Drives standardization and automation of data in order to remove variables from the data which leads to improved customer service and speed of insight delivery.
Builds and maintains appropriate analytics and visualisation models as per BOW or business priority.
Assists with ensuring compliance to the banks Risk and governance frameworks.
Takes the lead on learning new tools and systems that are required based on the changes in business needs.
