Our client in the fuel retail industry is seeking to employ Pump Attendants to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Attend to customers in a professional, friendly, and helpful manner.
• Dispense fuel accurately and safely into customer vehicles.
• Assist customers with oil, water, tyre pressure, and windscreen checks.
• Handle cash and card payments where required.
• Promote fuel station products, specials, and services where applicable.
• Maintain cleanliness of pumps, forecourt, and work areas.
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
• Report fuel leaks, equipment faults, hazards, or incidents immediately.
• Assist with stock control and receiving deliveries when required.
• Ensure customers receive quick, efficient, and professional service.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment where applicable.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.

 
Experience & Qualification

• National Senior Certificate advantageous.
• Previous experience as a Pump Attendant or in a customer service environment will be beneficial.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Honest, reliable, and presentable.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
• Basic numeracy and cash-handling skills.
• Must be able to follow health and safety instructions.
