Plumbing Site Supervisor

within the Sustainable and Renewable Energy and Water Sector. Experience in Hot Water Plumbing is a requirement (at least 2 years). Any electrical experience will be beneficial.

Please note that the position is for the Gauteng but traveling in Southern Africa is a possibility from time to time. The position is primarily responsible for the supervision of plumbing projects such as Heat Pump installations– residential and commercial and will also be utilised for Support on similar installations/sites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The responsibilities might change over a period but the key responsibilities at the start will be:

Maintaining of H&S procedures and the administration there-off.

Maintaining of job administration.

Working with the Project planning and management team– especially in preparing sites with building contractors.

Managing sub-contractors on projects.

Supervision of plumbing projects, especially Heat Pump jobs

Working with the Support team to support clients after installations

Quality Assurance on Systems/Installations

REQUIRED SKILLS Experience in hot water efficiency projects, electrical skills, and experience in the Photovoltaic industry will be beneficial. Please below find a general job description with the key skills requirements:

General plumbing experience.

Project Supervision experience.

Stock management.

Supervision experience– working in a team environment.

Attention to detail problem solving.

Interpret drawings, work orders.

Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, word).

Scholastic education– Grade 12.

Plumbing experience, qualified plumber will be highly beneficial.

Photovoltaic installations and understanding of systems will be beneficial

General electrical experience will be beneficial.

Working at Heights will be beneficial

General requirements

Valid driver’s license.

Own transport to client’s office in Midrand

Languages– English/ Afrikaans

Police clearance.

Financial wellness clearance.

Able to pass a medical
