Qualifications:

  • Degree in Human Resources

Minimum requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
  • Understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures
  • Full understanding of HR functions
  • Good understanding of all the appropriate Acts (LRA, BCEA, OSHA, COID, EEA)
  • Computer literate (MS Office)
  • Maintain confidentiality, tact, and discretion when handling sensitive data
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Own Transport

Key Performance Areas:

  • Responsible and accountable for the full HR function.
  • Management of daily HR related queries
  • Payroll
  • Responsible for recruitment, selection and placement of staff
  • Managing and conducting disciplinary hearings in line with the company's disciplinary code of conduct
  • Administrating and maintaining HR policies
  • Training and development of staff
  • Performance appraisals & staff evaluations

The ideal candidate must be accurate; work well under pressure; deadline driven & be a team-player.
