Technical Writer (POS/Software Development) x 2, Johannesburg

Our client, a leading software and POS solutions developing company, specifically catering to the hospitality, retail or sector, seeks to employ a Technical Writer, with a background in building and configuring client specific databases, to join this progressive and expanding professional team.

Please note that only candidates with relevant technical writing experience in POS or billing software will be considered.

KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:

• You must be able to work independently and accurately keep records and be proactive in your approach to ensuring the profitability of the company.
• You will have a tertiary qualification in Computer Engineering or related, coupled with 3-5 years experience in HTML and in translating technical design documents into functional database configurations, as well as configuring interfaces in line with business and financial rules.
• In addition, you will have experience in writing technical, training and standard operating procedure documents, as well as being an effective communicator to collaborate with the team to meet client SLAs and project timelines.
• Prior experience in ZOHO CRM and Microsoft software is essential
• You must have a valid driver's licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
